At the invitation of the Foundation for Good and Development in Zgharta, Dr. Fawzi Yammine held a lecture entitled “Language and Power”, where he considered that power is a language present wherever it is, in all political, religious, educational, social, family and other institutions, and even in movements that oppose power as it becomes an authority of an another kind of language. In addition, the language has two powers: one subject to the person who uses it and his social status according to its connection with the institutions in which it speaks, and the second, internal, related to the structure of the language itself, of rules and controls. Therefore, freedom comes from the rebellion of language against itself and power.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
